Thank you all for your participation in the annual meeting yesterday! All reports were in order, all Church officers had their ducks in a row, things went great! One notable achievement during the meeting was the approval of the budget. Its not just the approval of the budget, but also the inclusion of $2000 for immediate release to the ELCA for Haiti relief efforts. We also had an animated discussion about the idea to create a History Task Force. In broad terms, the History Task Force will be tasked to develop a method to preserve the history of Rollag Lutheran Church. This is an exciting development, and much interest and ideas were expressed during and after the meeting. Keep the buzz going!

Wow! Little too dicey to be heading out on Christmas Day with the blizzard heading into town. Please check the site for additonal updates, and stay warm and best wishes!
We try to keep it simple in our day to day world, and usually fall short.
Every year the Sunday School students provide us with a Christmas Program which reminds us that simple is always best- as they remind us of the beautiful story of Jesus’ birth.
Gran and Rollag will present their program on Sunday, Dec. 20th at Rollag during the 9:30 a.m. service.
Park will have their program on Christmas Eve at 5 p.m.
We invite you to come and hear again the wonderful reminder, through the telling of a story, that keeping your life simple also helps to keep us closer to God.
God’s peace,
Pastor Jim
We are in a time where people are moving out to the country, seeking a different pace, and we are able to offer them 3 established churches with people who are willing to welcome new members in.
On Sunday, Oct. 25th, we are welcoming new members into our parish. If you are interested in joining- please let Pastor Jim, or call the parish office: 937-5499- leave a message- and Pastor Jim will get back to you as soon as possible.
Also, we are having a new member orientation to help people have a better understanding of what it is we do at the Rollag Church.
We are 3 Churches- 1 Ministry and we’re better when we work together to build up the body of Christ.
